The Late Gig
Every Sunday Night 9-11pm... and if you love it that much - listen again Thursday nights from midnight!
The Late Gig is an innovative radio show that promotes the up and coming local music scene with chats and live sessions from local artists and bands! Taken over in June 2010 by a new team of presenters: Terry Yau, Malcolm Wood and Fran May.
We try to have one local artist or band on each week. We cover many different genres: hard rock, emo, punk, acoustic, indie, alternative, and maybe a bit of folk, electronica and dub-step thrown in there too!
With each show that we spend with our guests, we ask the questions you want answering, have them perform a live set right here in the Swindon 105.5 studio, and we may also play music from their e.p's and albums.
We also provide a local gig guide each week, and have lots of chat and banter including our 'Text Topic' and 'Random News of the Week'. We play lots of music as well from your favourite bands and artists, and other local music tracks.
